The University students are invited to participate in the All-Russian Congress of Young Scientists
Registration is open for the 12th All-Russian Congress of Councils of Young Scientists and Student Scientific Societies, which will be held in Vladivostok from 15 to 17 July 2024. It will be attended by about 1,100 researchers: recipients of state support; winners of the Leaders of Russia contest; and undergraduate and postgraduate students from all over the country.
The main goal of the Congress is to involve the community of early-career researchers in solving the most important challenges of the development of society and the country. This includes the implementation of the initiatives of the Decade of Science and Technology. The organisers have set themselves the following tasks: to attract talented young people to the field of research and development; to contribute to the development of flexible skills; and to popularise the achievements of Russian science among citizens.
Registration is open up to and including 30 April on the Congress website.
An educational and cultural programme will be prepared for the Congress participants. They will be able to attend workshops, round tables and panel discussions with leading Russian scholars, experts and leaders in the field of science and technology, and lectures by laureates of the Russian President’s Prize in Science and Innovation for Young Scientists. As a tradition, the Congress will include meetings of representatives of councils of young scientists and student scientific societies from all federal districts with supervisors from the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in Science and Education. During these meetings, early-career researchers will be able to present the best practices for implementing their projects.
The All-Russian Congress of Councils of Young Scientists and Student Scientific Societies is held annually by order of the President of the Russian Federation and is part of the Decade of Science and Technology (2022-2031). The event is organised by the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in Science and Education of the Presidential Council of the Russian Federation for Science and Education and supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
